The Project

The project aims to develop an innovative system for the timely assessment and monitoring of fire safety levels in historical buildings through the utilization of cutting-edge Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies within an integrated management and monitoring environment. The developed tool will enable continuous and dynamic control of parameters influencing fire safety and the operational conditions of buildings. Furthermore, it will contribute to the decision-making process for improving fire protection levels.

The assessment of fire safety measures in historical buildings will become feasible through the development of a Dynamic Fire Safety Model (DFSM). This model will be based on the analysis of existing fire safety data, geometric building data, and the properties of structural elements.
